Jim Curtin – Founder, President and CEO
Experienced CEO and C-level executive. Prior to Virtual Bridges, Jim was VP of Security at IBM. Before that, Jim was co-founder and CEO of DASCOM, leader in Enterprise security management, which was acquired by IBM. Prior to this, Jim was Managing Director of Asia Pacific for Open Software Foundation responsible for rapid growth in revenue with visionary sales approach.
Tom Francese – Executive Vice President

Tom most recently held the position of EVP, WW Sales at the Novell Corporation. Prior to this, Tom was President -Europe, Middle East, Africa for the Novell based in London. Prior to joining Novell, Tom spent thirty years with IBM, rising to Vice President, Software Group Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa. Tom has earned an MBA and BA degree and served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps.
Leo Reiter – Co-founder, CTO
Experienced technologist responsible for architecture, development and technical sales leadership.
Prior to Virtual Bridges, Leo was a senior architect at Verizon.
Dan Perlman – Co-founder, VP, Business Development
Experienced Startup Executive. Prior to Virtual Bridges, Dan was VP of Marketing at DASCOM, as a member of the core leadership team, he was responsible for marketing operations. At Tivoli, he was responsible for Tivoli analyst relations. Prior to this, Dan served as VP of Marketing and VP of IT for The Registry, a pioneering contract outsourcing firm.
Jim Clark, Ph.D. – VP and Managing Director, Asia Pacific Operations
Prior to Virtual Bridges, Jim was Chairman of DASCOM. Prior to that role, he was President of SCO Asia-Pacific. Prior to that Dr. Clark was President of ATT Unix Systems Labs and Senior representative for Bell Labs, Asia Pacific
Srini Gurrapu – VP, Product Management
Srini is responsible for leading the company’s product requirements, developing the value proposition, creating competitive analysis and forging strategic alliances. Previously, Srini served as an EIR (Entrepreneur-In-Residence) at Austin Ventures exploring different ideas in Cloud Computing and Next-gen Firewall markets. Prior to that, Srini led product management for two Desktop Virtualization startups, RingCube and Mokafive. Srini also ran product management at several security startups such as FaceTime Communications, Neoteris, and BlueCoat Systems. At Neoteris, he was responsible for building the industry’s #1 SSL VPN solution, and Neoteris was acquired by Juniper Networks. Srini has also worked at Microsoft Corporation building Internet services in hosting and wireless areas, and at Lucent Bell Labs building telecom network management solutions.
Jikku Venkat – VP, Development, Support and Services
Jikku has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry bringing leading-edge technology concepts to market. His areas of expertise are in Cloud Computing, Data Center Virtualization, thin clients, Grid and High-Performance Computing. Prior to Virtual Bridges, Jikku was CTO & Co-Founder of United Devices, a company that delivered Grid and Cloud computing software to Global 2000 customers. During his tenure from 2000 through 2008, he built the development team from scratch, delivered 5 generations of software products, and evangelized the technology with customers, partners, investors, press and analysts. Prior to United Devices, Dr. Venkat was at Dell Computer working on Technology Strategy for the office of the CTO. Prior to that he spent 7 years at IBM where he was involved in bringing several leading technology concepts to market including low-cost supercomputer systems, PowerPC systems (with Apple), and low-cost, thin client personal computers.
Geoffry Gilton – VP, Service Provider Business Strategy
Geoff has over 15 years of experience in the ITC managed services industry bringing leading-edge technology concepts to market. His areas of expertise are Data Center Services, Cloud Computing, Data Center Virtualization and Managed IT Services. Geoff is responsible for Virtual Bridges’ service provider strategy and business development. Previously, Geoff was Vice President of Product Management at Devonshire Investors. Geoff led the strategy and product portfolio for COLT Managed Services business, in London, providing leadership for the COLT Managed Services portfolio across COLT European infrastructure. Prior to working at COLT, Geoff led the development of KVH’s IT Managed Services business in Tokyo, Japan, as director of Product Management. Also, Geoff supported the build-out of Data Centers in Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo working with MetroRed.
